Today, we’ll go over the important details about FIFA 24 Ultimate Team of the Season including some changes, what’s new with Champions mode and rewards, TOTS Live, and more! Without further ado, let’s get straight into the overview of FC 24’s Team of the Season event!
A Brand New ‘Authentic’ EA FC 24 Team of the Season
The highlight of this year’s EA FIFA 24 Team of the Season event is an upgrade to its ‘authenticity’. This time around, FC 24 devs are kicking things up a notch by collaborating and implementing real-world metrics from individual domestic leagues courtesy of Stats Perform’s Opta, one of the global leaders in sports data collection.
This translates to not only upgraded stats as usual, but it will also incorporate the player’s real-life performances to ‘upgrade’ the selection of ‘TOTS Live’ items and players.
FIFA 24 TOTS Live
As mentioned earlier, the cards getting the ‘dynamic’ treatment are none other than TOTS Live items, a first for the FIFA 24 Team of the Season campaign. FC 24 has already incorporated a version of real-world stat tracking to upgrade cards in previous events, but it’s the first time TOTS is getting the pleasure.
TOTS Live items will already feature incredibly talented players from the 2023 – 2024 campaign with upgraded stats from their usual cards. But this time, TOTS Live items will also have the benefit of potentially receiving even more upgrades based on real-world performance and metrics in the last few club games left.
Here are the potential upgrades and criteria for receiving the upgrade –
- +1 OVR upgrade if the player’s club wins 2 games in the next 4 League games.
- +1 OVR upgrade if the player’s club scores 8 goals or more in the next 4 League games.
In addition to the potential upgrades, TOTS Live items will also feature Triple Playstyles+, another first for the TOTS event. This is available for ‘select’ TOTS items, and applicable items will receive 3x Playstyles+ for an even better card, possibly one of the best performers on your squad!
FC 24 TOTS Plus
In addition to TOTS Live items, this time around, the FC 24 Ultimate Team of the Season is also introducing TOTS Plus items. With TOTS Plus, select items will also feature ‘TOTS Plus Chemistry’ which will be available in both Women’s Leagues and Mixed Leagues TOTS items.
Having a player with TOTS Plus Chemistry will have a net advantage in links with other players in their Leagues so it’s easier to mix and match without messing with your squad’s chemistry.
TOTS Plus players will also feature at least two Chemistry Points when in the right position.

Core Game Modes Reward Refresh
Alongside the new TOTS Live and TOTS Plus items, as is tradition at this point, the FIA 24 Ultimate Team of the Season campaign will also ‘refresh’ some of the FIFA 24 Ultimate Team game modes including the Champions mode, Rivals mode, and Squad Battle mode.
Within the three modes, players have a chance at earning TOTS Red Items and cards as rewards for the game modes. This will include the beautiful sport’s top Men’s and Women’s Leagues every week the campaign is active.
You also have a chance at earning TOTS Live, TOTS Plus, and TOTS Moments players so you don’t have to buy card packs to unlock FUT 24 UltimateTeam of the Season players.
