Brawl Stars Game Modes Tier List

Note that this Brawl Stars Game Modes tier list is subjective and depends on individual preferences. We have divided the tier list into 5 tiers starting from the best of the best S-Tier to the hated D-tier.

Brawl Stars S-Tier

1. Brawl Stars Gem Grab

Gem Grab has been a part of Brawl Stars since the beginning. The teams have to take control of the whole map and the gems could be stolen from them at any moment. All in all its the essence of Brawl Stars.

2. Duo Showdown

Imagine playing Showdown with your friend with respawns. Well, that’s a duo showdown. The game mode requires strategy and is exciting, hence belongs to the top tier.

3. Duels

Duels is a 1v1 showdown between two players. So, there’s no teaming up, random teammates, or other annoying features. The game mode is based on pure skills.

4. Solo Showdown

It is the most played game mode in the entire Brawl Stars Community. It requires skills and strategies to overcome the enemies and win.

Brawl Stars A-Tier

1. Brawl Stars BasketBrawl

BasketBrawl was a fun and exciting game mode for all the players. However, it wasn’t as competitive as other Brawl Stars modes.

2. 5V5

It is a fun game wherein a majority of good teammates can carry the game. Also, players can enjoy the game with more people.

3. Heist

It is one of the better Brawl Stars Game Modes. Players have to destroy the safe on the enemy side while protecting their own. The concept and the gameplay were both amusing.

4. Hot Zone

It is one of the most competitive Brawl Stars modes in Brawl Stars. The game mode is fair for both teams as it requires controlling all the zones for the same duration.

5. Bounty

Bounty game mode is all about skills and kills. It requires teams to be tactful as every single kill counts.

6. Brawl Ball

Brawl Ball is all about taking the kills and managing the ball. The game mode differs based on offense and defense. In addition to that, it requires skills and strategies to become victorious.

7. Knockout

It is one of the most intense modes in Brawl Stars. A single player can dominate the team battle with better tactics.

Brawl Stars B-Tier

1. Present Plunder/Trophy Thieves

This game mode was Capture the Flag in Brawl Stars. The game mode was fun for all the players. However, it being a permanent game mode was far from its potential.

2. Brawl Stars Big Game

Big Game gives players 1 in 6 chance to become the boss and defeat the other 5. Unlike the boss, for other players, the game mode is nothing less than a pain. Also, if the boss is Nina or Jesse then it’s a long day for the survivors.

3. Wipeout

Wipeout is similar to Hunter game mode except it is a 3v3 team battle. This prevents the annoyance of kill steals and the meta of the mode is not as exclusive.

4. Bot Drop

Botdrop was quite a complex game mode. Players had to keep a safe distance from the bots while simultaneously luring them to their side. Overall, it was fun gameplay, but the complexity ruined it for many players.

5. Siege

Siege was for some reason the least played permanent game mode. So, Supercell removed it from the permanent rotation. It had the most strategic plays but was not as fun.

6. Showdown Plus

This game mode was a trophy-mine. Trophies help progress fast in the game. Players can also buy Brawl Stars brawl pass to progress quickly. Now, Showdown Plus offers more than 10 trophies in a game. Unfortunately, players would lose more trophies than they would win.

7. Boss Fight

It is another PvE mode in Brawl Stars. The only reason for its low rank is repetitiveness.

Brawl Stars C-Tier

1. The Hunter

It was an upgrade to Lone Star. Brawlers with 6 kills would win the game. The Brawl Stars Game Modes also showed the direction of the best player. However, the game mode promoted kill stealing, which again annoyed many.

2. Payload

This game mode had all the potential to become an S-Tier. However, the development of the cart made the mode clunky and unplayable. Players would find it difficult to move around the cart. Also, it had a meta of close-range brawlers and throwers.

3. Robo Rumble

In this mode, players have to stand their ground against the mass spawn of robots. It has gone through three major changes. Although, these changes couldn’t stop the players from exploiting the game mode. Also, it became boring after discovering this meta.

4. Volley Brawl

When it came out Volley Brawl was the most fun game mode. However, the game mode consisted of mechanics that didn’t make sense. Also, the Brawl Stars mode had few meta brawlers.

Brawl Stars D-Tier

1. Takedown

Takedown required the least amount of skills to win. In this mode, whoever dealt the most damage to the boss would win. Players could also kill enemies with power cubes. However, the Brawl Stars Game Modes was biased towards high-damage dealers like Colt, Bull, and Pam. It was just a DPS race with more advantage with a lucky spawn.

2. Hold the Trophy

In this game mode players had to hold a trophy for a long duration and win. At first, it was a funBrawl Stars modes to play. However, once the players realized the meta, the use of El Primo and Frank, the fun nose-dived.

3. Lone Star

Lone Star was a 10-man free-for-all bounty hunter. It was supposed to be a game meant for deciding which players defeated the most players. But it came out to be which player could steal the most kills. This was annoying for all the players, especially those who had their kills stolen.
