How to Unlock the Minion Prince Clash of Clans
Unlocking Minion Prince is pretty simple; you just have to upgrade your Hero Hall to level 3.
Now what is a Hero Hall, you wonder? This too has been newly added in the recent big update. Think of the Hero Hall as a headquarters for heroes, and you can manage them from here. This army building is unlocked at Town Hall level 7.
What about players that are at higher levels of Town Hall? Do they have to level up the Minion Prince from scratch? No, you don’t have to. I understand the confusion when it comes to the Hero Hall level and the new hero unlocking level. I will try and explain it in simple words.
Since the Hero Hall is unlocked at Town Hall level 7, from here on, start counting like this:
- TH Level 7 = Hero Hall Level 1
- TH Level 8 = Hero Hall Level 2
- TH Level 9 = Hero Hall Level 3, and so on.
For example, if you have the Town Hall at level 16, you will get Hero Hall at level 10, and based on these levels, you will unlock the Minion Prince.
To unlock the Minion Prince, you need Hero Hall level 3, meaning you must have Town Hall level 9.

The level of your Clash of Clans Minion Prince is going to be the maximum level from the previous Town Hall level.
In the same example of Town Hall 16, you get Minion Prince with a max level of Town Hall 15.
Town Hall Level 15 = Hero Hall Level 9 = Minion Prince Max Level 70. (The Minion Prince is unlocked at Hero Hall 3 with a max level of 10.)

Understanding the Minion Prince From Clash of Clans
The Minion Prince is an aerial hero and attacks from a long-range, meaning the ground units are literally useless against him.
The Minion Prince has a maximum level of 90, where get gets:
- 750 DPS
- 637.5 Damage Per Hit
- 5358 HP
- 1000 Health Recovery
- 48m Regen Time
Notes:
- He has the second highest DPS; the first is the Archer Queen with 780 DPS at level 100.
- He also has the second highest HP; the first is the Barbarian King with 12100 HP at level 100.
Deploy the Minion Prince with other aerial units to see his full potential. Keep in mind that he is quite vulnerable against aerial defense, and he will easily get eliminated despite his modest HP.
Clash of Clans Minion Prince Equipment and Best Pet
The Minion Prince has two pieces of equipment: Henchmen Puppet and Dark Orb.
Henchmen Puppet: This lets you summon two henchmen and when activated, the Minion Prince becomes invisible. This focuses all the incoming attacks on the henchmen, which is a great way to distract the enemy’s defense.
The Minion Prince also gains bonus DPS and recovers health when using this ability.
Dark Orb: Dark Orb also helps with defense and pairs well with the Henchmen Puppet. Upon activation, this item creates a portal that moves forward. This portal is created whichever way the Minion Prince is looking.
The portal deals damage and slows defenses and troops around it—the Minion Prince also gains bonus DPS and hit points when using this ability.
If you’re looking for a pet to pair with him, I think the Angry Jelly will be a good choice. For around 30 seconds, the Angry Jelly’s brainwash will turn the Minion Prince into a beast.
