FC 25 Fantasy FC Upgrades Explained
We already know that the players will receive boosts and upgrades based on real-world matches. General factors like scoring or assisting in goals and clean sheets will boost players. Along with these, showcasing sportsmanship by avoiding yellow/red cards will earn extra upgrades. These players are going to receive even better upgrades if they win the domestic leagues or cup.
Here is a list of all the cups that count as domestic cups:
- England: FA Cup (Men and Women)
- France: Coupe de France (Men and Women)
- Germany: DFB Pokal (Men and Women)
- Italy: Coppa Italia
- Spain: Copa del Rey (Men) and Copa de la Reina (Women)
The better a player and their club perform, the better upgrades they receive in FUT. What about heroes, though? You may ask. When it comes to Fantasy Heroes, their upgrades are based on their historical club’s performances in the current domestic league matches. You can find heroes and their respective historical clubs in the above-mentioned table.
How Do Fantasy FC Player Card Upgrades Work?
Below is the list of all the conditions and their respective upgrades and boosts.
- If the team wins 2 games in the next 4 league matches, the player will get +1 OVR and 1 new Role++.
- If the team scores 10 goals in the next 4 league matches, one face attribute will be boosted to 99.
- If the player (GKs, Defenders, and CDMS only, excluding Heroes) achieves 1 clean sheet in the next 4 league matches, the player will get a second PlayStyle+ and 1 regular PlayStyle. If the player already has 2 PlayStyle+, they will get 2 regular PlayStyles instead.
- If the player (Attackers and Midfielders only, excluding CDMs and Heroes) achieves 1 goal or assist in the next 4 league matches, the player will get a second PlayStyle+ and 1 regular PlayStyle. If the player already has 2 PlayStyle+, they will get 2 regular PlayStyles instead.
- If the player achieves 0 yellow or red cards (sportsmanship) in the next 4 league matches, the player will get +1 OVR and a 5-star SM or WF boost.
Note: If the player already has 5-star WF and SM ratings, they will receive only a +1 OVR.
Seasonal Upgrades:
- If the player’s team wins the primary domestic cup, the player will get a third PlayStyle+, and one face attribute gets boosted to 99. If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will receive 1 regular PlayStyle instead.
- If the player’s team wins the domestic league, the player will get a +1 OVR and a third PlayStyle+. If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will receive 1 regular PlayStyle instead.
