UT Birthday is back! FC 25 is celebrating its 16 years of UT, and as a part of those celebrations, the FUT Birthday promo is back—and this time it’s bigger and better. During this promo, you can unlock 5-star evolution upgrades by completing a few challenges. There are also special cosmetic evolutions for FIFA 18, 19, and 20 fans.

FC 25 FUT Birthday Evolutions Explained
As a part of the FUT Birthday FC 25 Promo, there are both free and paid evolutions. Free evolutions are always great, but what about the paid ones? A few paid ones offer awesome upgrades, while the others are simply for cosmetic purposes. Are these evos worth spending your coins and FC points on? Let’s look at all the upgrades and their rewards and come to a conclusion.
Note: All of these challenges must be completed by using your active EVO player in the game, meaning you must use the player that you want to upgrade for these challenges.
Build Your FUT Birthday I
Build Your FUT Birthday 1 has 6 challenges and four levels in total. This is a free evolution that grants amazing boosts and stat upgrades to your Striker. This evolution also adds “CAM” as an alt pos. Select any player that meets the following requirements for this evolution:

Build Your FUT Birthday 2 has 10 challenges and five levels in total. This is a paid evolution and costs either 300,000 coins or 1,000 FC points. This evolution increases player stats, grants boosts, adds roles, playstyles, and more. Select any player that meets the following requirements for this evolution:

FUT Birthday Retro 18, 19, and 20 Evolutions
FUT Birthday Retro 18, 19, and 20 evolutions add their respective retro designs to your player cards. This nostalgic factor might be a great addition to fans of the older FIFA games. As mentioned, the retro evolutions are completely for cosmetic purposes—there are no challenges, rewards, and upgrades as a part of these evolutions.
All 3 Retro Evolutions, i.e., FIFA 18, 19, and 20, cost 50,000 coins or 250 FC points each.
Are FUT Birthday FC 25 Evolutions Worth It?
IMO, it’s definitely worth spending your coins or points on Build Your FUT Birthday II. FUT Birthday I and II evolutions go hand-in-hand, so do consider it if you have the coins or points to spend. Imagine having Finesse Shot+ and the Quick-Step+ on the same player; I think it’s going to be a deadly combination.
When it comes to retro evolutions, if you’re really a fan of the older FIFA games, and if nostalgia is a great factor for you, then maybe you can get these evolutions. All three retro evolutions add great design to your player cards; these evolutions are completely personal preferences.
