Fastest Cars in GTA 5 and How to Get Them (2024)

Speeding across Los Santos both offline and online is an essential part of GTA 5. These games have always paid much mind to how vehicles are depicted and “feel” while driving, spoiling the player with an abundance of choice. At the start of 2024, there are more than 600 cars you can test in GTA 5 and GTA Online!

However, not all of them are made for races. GTA 5 has a good amount of vintage models and family vehicles as well. As for the real speedsters, adding them to your GTA 5 account will not come cheap, but there are shortcuts we’ll discuss later.

So, here’s our guide to the fastest cars in GTA 5 and how to get them in 2024!

Pegassi Monroe

This Lamborghini Miura-inspired car easily looks the type due to its slick and aerodynamic frame. It also sounds as one would guess, roaring proudly with the rear engine vents being a necessary inclusion.

The Pegassi Monroe can reach a top speed of 122.00 miles per hour, which is more than enough for the majority of GTA 5’ offline races. To get it, you’ll have to order with a sum of $490,000.

Progen T20

The Progen T20 mimics the round design of the popular McLaren P1 real-life hypercar, though it borrows from the McLaren 12C model as well. The result is a fast-as-a-bullet, compact two-seater with cool butterfly doors to boot.

You can purchase it for no less than $2,200,000. While that price is definitely steep, the coolness factor and its top speed of 122.25 mph easily make up for that!

Truffade Adder

This tough-looking speedster blends together aspects from actual models like the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, the Audi TT Mk2 RS, as well as the Saturn Curve design concept. On the inside, the Truffade Adder looks similar to most Super GT cars, aside from the Truffade emblems and logos.

This car can go as fast as 124.75 mph and costs $1,000,000 to order. If you’re lucky, you can find this one randomly on the streets of Los Santos, and perhaps get your hands on it in a more “shady” way…

Truffade Z-Type

Long-time GTA fans will recognize this car as the luxurious pick of gangsters back in GTA 2, and its latest virtual iteration does it even more justice. In GTA 5, the Truffade Z-Type also resembles the 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, but with notable aspects lifted from the legendary 1936 Delahaye 135 Competition Court Teardrop Coupé. Such inspirations give this car a unique, ultra-luxurious, and retro look.

The Truffade Z-Type is also incredibly fast, able to reach as high as 126.25 miles per hour. Getting it is another story, though, as this gem costs a whopping $10,000,000 to order on the in-game car sale business.

Vapid Pißwasser Dominator

Taking the throne as the fastest car in the offline portion of GTA G, the Vapid Pißwasser Dominator can reach a staggering 126.50 miles per hour! It is a vastly improved version of the Dominator model (resembling a Ford Mustang), and offers excellent acceleration due to the V8 engine. This muscle car is the best choice for racing in a straight line, but it’s less than ideal for driving on wet surfaces.

Unlocking the Vapid Pißwasser Dominator is a bit complicated, though. Offline, this car is exclusively for players who have the PS3/Xbox 360 version of GTA 5 and becomes available after coming in first at the 3rd Stock Car Race. In GTA Online, this car is available to all, courtesy of the Cunning Stunts update.

Grotti Itali RSX

The Cayo Perico Heist update also unleashed the Grotti Itali RSX car upon GTA Online fans. This Ferrari SF90 Stradale/Ferrari F8 Tributo-inspired model is perhaps the most stylish speedster in the game, and it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to performance as well.

The Grotti Itali RSX can reach a top speed of 135 miles per hour, formidable by all accounts. To get it, purchase for $3,465,000.

Ocelot Pariah

The Ocelot Pariaj is a fan favorite due to its incredible handling and top speed of 136 mph. Introduced with the Doomsday Heist update back in 2017, this suave model borrows from the work of popular manufacturers like Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Chevrolet. It looks slick on the interior as well, equipped with carbon-fiber shifters and somewhat resembling the Tempesta.

On the track, the Ocelot Pariah is a beast among its Sports class peers. It has an inline-4 engine and a light frame, allowing unmatched acceleration and good handling. Getting it is similar to other cars on this list: Pay a surprisingly reasonable price of $1,420,000 to buy it!

BF Weevil Custom

One of the freshest releases that made the cut, the BF Weevil Custom became available on October 27th, 2022, alongside the Criminal Enterprises update. This GTA Online car heavily resembles the Volkswagen Beetle Rat Rod, and while its looks don’t allude to high-speed performance, that can’t be further from the truth.

At base, this peculiarly-shaped car is not impressive in terms of racing potential: it’s compact and acts as a cruiser at that point. To be fair, getting it is a simple affair, and the player will simply need to head down to Benny’s Original Motor Works and buy it for $980,000. However, the real magic begins when one proceeds to fully upgrade this hotrod, eventually unlocking its top speed of 137.50 miles per hour!

How to Get the Fastest Car with Cheap GTA Money

As pointed out above, even the cheapest of these cars will set you back around $ 1 million, which translates to hours of grinding in-game just to buy the base version of the car. On that note, the total costs of upgrading the fastest car in GTA 5, the BF Weevil Custom, can add up to a sum higher than $2,5 million, which can discourage players before long. After all, GTA 5 money is not that easy to obtain, and such a large amount is even more difficult.

However, you can head over to our secured store and use GTA money to fill your garage with muscle cars hassle-free. That way, you’ll get the best possible results without having to spend dozens of hours collecting that much virtual currency. If you have an interest in modded cars within GTA 5, using GTA modded accounts is also a wise choice.
