MLB The Show 24 recently unveiled their latest Program in the game, the ‘Extreme’ Program which brings a whole host of new MLB 24 The Show events, gameplay modes, and a staggering amount of rewards like MLB The Show 24 player cards, items, and more.
This includes some challenging new Moments and Missions to take part in, including PXP, Extreme Program player, Event Missions, and General, that can reward fantastic new player cards like the Finest Series Jorge Polanco with a 99 OVR and the Milestone Series Adam Ottavino with a 99 OVR.

Extreme Showdown & Extreme Conquest Map
Prepare your Showdown Squad to take on the ‘Final Boss’, none other than Jacob DeGrom in the new ‘Extreme Showdown’ even. Defeating DeGrom in an intense Showdown will reward players with Stubs and progress them in the Extreme Program with 20 Points.
In the Showdown, you’ll be able to build quite a capable squad with a number of 90+ MLB The Show 24 OVR cards to choose from that you might not have. As you progress through the Showdown, you’ll get to draft new cards so it’s great for trying out new players you might want to get.
As a tip, make sure to bring along a hitter who specializes in right-handed pitchers to ease the challenge a bit.
We also have the new ‘EZ’ Conquest Map, but don’t be fooled, nothing about the new Conquest is going to be easy. Similar to other MLB The Show 24 Conquest Maps, you’ll be facing off against rival teams to attack and ‘conquer’ territories while stealing fans, and reinforcing your own territories, all in the name of gaining control of the Conquest Map.
With this, you’ll be able to earn a bunch of great MLB The Show 24 rewards including new Packs, Stubs, and some points to progress in the Extreme Program.
Extreme Event
Keeping in line with the MLB The Show 24 ‘Extreme’ theme, we also have the aptly named ‘Extreme Event’ which allows players to earn repeatable rewards like OOP (Out of Position) picks and Season 3 Events Rewind & Vault player card packs.
You’ll also be able to earn points to help you progress in the Extreme Program by completing the plentiful selection of MLB The Show 24 Event Missions available this time around. There are a few rules you need to be wary of before you get started though so keep this in mind –

The New Extreme ‘Mini’ Season
Take part in the GBL (Global Baseball League) to take down the league’s best of the best in 28 regular season, 3-inning games to earn the championship in the latest MLB The Show 24 Extreme Mini Season challenge.
Here MLB The Show 24 players will be able to earn a variety of rewards including XP, Stubs, and player Packs to help pad out their roster. Plus, you can also earn ‘Extreme Vouchers’. These Extreme Vouchers can be redeemed to progress further in the Extreme Program and net some free rewards.
