Pet Simulator 99 has released a massive new update titled Fantasy World that adds a ton of new content! Why Is This Pet Sim Update Special?
Preston and the rest of the Pet Sim 99 development team release a new update every week, but usually, they are just new events and bug fixes. The recent update on May 17th, 2025, was a bit bigger than the usual weekly updates, since it added a whole new world to Pet Sim 99!
Known as Fantasy World, this is only the fourth world to be added to the game in its history, so it’s kind of a big deal!
In addition to adding a whole new world, the dev team was busy working on a number of other changes to the game, so there’s more than the usual amount of new content. Read on to learn more!
What Can You Do In Fantasy World?
Fantasy World arrives with 10 new zones to explore (and grab some gems while you’re there), but the developer update says that there is room for a lot more if people like it:
- Fantasy Spawn
- Flora Falls
- Lantern Forest
- Honeycomb Hollow
- Fairy Glade
- Windmill Point
- Radiant Runestones
- Fogbound Forest
- Rune Graveyard
- Halo Spires
For a limited time only, there is a Fragment Machine in Fantasy World that can combine all those Fragment Shards you accidentally hauled in while fishing. Now you can combine them to grab a HUGE Angel Dragon pet!
There’s also a brand-new Fantasy Spinny Wheel, which has much cooler rewards than the previous Void Spinny Wheel. You could even get yourself a Huge Pixie Bee pet! You need tickets to spin the wheel, but you can grab tickets all over Fantasy World from breakables.
Last but not least, you will be tempted by the Fantasy Chest! We don’t have a lot of details about this, but you’ll need to find two halves of the Fantasy Key and combine them to unlock the chest. You might even find a Huge Glade Griffin inside for your troubles, so give it your best shot!
New Fantasy World Pets in Pet Sim 99
Now let’s get on to the important stuff – the new pets! In Fantasy World, there are two new awesome titanic pets: the Titanic Empyrean Owl and the Titanic Narwhal. Who would have thought a narwhal could be so cute?
In addition to the new titanic pets, there are a whole lot more huge pets to go around:

You might feel different, but it looks like the cutest pets are clearly the Huge Glade Griffin and the Huge Skeleton Shark 😉 But that Angel Dragon looks pretty adorable too!
As if all those awesome new pets weren’t enough, there are also 17 new regular-sized pets from the new Fantasy World zones, and 10 new eggs to hatch!
There’s even a new free pet that is given away to all new players, so if you’ve never played Pet Sim before, this is the best time ever to get started!
What Else Changed in Pet Sim 99?
That’s a whole lot of new pets, but there’s also a bunch of other updates to the game, and the most important changes happen in everyone’s favorite game: Fishing!
While it’s not directly part of Fantasy World, there’s a new freezing-cold Blizzard Bay island for catching 10 new fish. You’ve even got the chance to haul the Huge Snow Crab pet from the icy depths!
You’ll also find a new fishing boat named the Reel Frosty (get it?), designed specifically for Blizzard Bay fishing. When you’re out on the Bay, keep a lookout for the new Luck Whirlpool, which can give you up to a 200% better chance of catching rare fish (or even that new pet!)
Most of us are playing Pet Sim 99 to get pets, but sometimes you might get a pet that you really don’t like. Instead of just having to ignore it, this update adds the ability to delete pets that you don’t want anymore.
