Welcome, gamers, to yet another Raid Shadow Legends guide. As a part of our ongoing Raid Shadow Legends champion guides, I bring you the ultimate guide to the Lordly Legionary.
Why him? You may wonder! Lordly Legionary is a free epic champion, and he is fairly easy to obtain. You can get this free champion by logging into Raid Shadow Legends for 150 days.
He might not be the greatest epic champion, but he is free to obtain and very effective against the Fire Knight and I’m sure a lot of you avid Raid players have got him and are wondering how to actually build him.
In this guide, let us take a look at his abilities, masteries, blessings and recommended stats and sets.

Lordly Legionary Skills
Press The Fight: Attacks an enemy twice. If the target is under a 50% Heal Reduction debuff, you get an extra hit, and if the target is under a 100% Heal Reduction debuff, you get 2 extra hits. Team up with a champion that can place the Heal Reduction debuff and you will get a total of 4 hits on the enemy.
The damage you deal through this ability increases by 5% at every level, up to 3 times.
Outflank: Attack an enemy for one single time. You get a 75% chance of placing a 30% Decrease SPD debuff for 2 turns, and if the debuff is successfully placed, the target’s turn meter is decreased by 20%.
The damage dealt is increased by 5% at levels 2 and 3, and by 10% at level 4.
You also gain a 10% increased buff/debuff chance at level 5 and a 15% increased buff/debuff chance at level 6. Finally, at level 7, you get a -1 cooldown.
Legion’s Orders: You can place a 30% Reflect Damage buff and a 15% Continuous Heal buff on the allies for 2 turns.
You can reduce the cooldown by -1 at level 2.
Lordly Legionary Masteries
As mentioned before about the limitations of Lordly Legionary, he is only viable for PvE, and here are the masteries you can use.

Under the offense tree, we will be going for Warmaster: This will give you a 60% chance of dealing bonus damage when attacking an enemy. The bonus damage you gain from this mastery is equal to 4% of the target’s MAX HP (bosses). But when the target is an enemy champion, the bonus damage is 10% of MAX HP but we’re not picking him up for PVP.
Keep in mind that the bonus damage you get from the Warmaster mastery does not account for a hit on the Fire Knight.
And for the Support tree, we will be going for Master Hexer, just so that you can have that 30% chance of increasing the overall duration of your Decreased SPD debuff.
If you are looking to experiment around a little bit, you can also try out the Sniper mastery under the support tree. This too will increase the chances of placing your debuffs by 5%, both from skills and artifacts.
Recommended Blessing for Lordly Legionary
For blessing, we will be going with the Phantom Touch. With this, you will have a chance of dealing bonus damage to the enemy whenever you hit them. Unlike Warmaster’s bonus damage, this damage will count as a hit on the Fire Knight shield.
Phantom Touch, along with your first ability, which lets you hit the target up to 4 times, go hand-in-hand and count for a hit against the Fire Knight’s shield. This is what makes the Lordly Legionary a great pick against the Fire Knight.
Recommended Stats and Artifacts for Lordly Legionary
When it comes to stats, it is recommended to focus on ACC, C.RATE and SPD in general, as well as HP% and DEF% for much-needed survivability.
And for artifacts, look for sets with accuracy, perception, speed and lifesteal.
Conclusion
Make sure to team up with Raid Shadow Legends champions like Frostbringer, Coldheart, Little Miss Annie or other champions that have a high chance of placing the 100% Heal Reduction debuff so that you can attack the target multiple times with your A1.
According to Hellhades, Lordly Legionary is very good in the Fire Knight dungeon and somewhat decent against the Nether Spider. In most other cases, Lordly Legionary underperforms a lot. You don’t necessarily have to level his champion up, as there are much better options to focus on.
But at the same time, Lordly Legionary is a free epic champion and he is fairly easy to acquire. You do not have to go out of your way to claim him. All you have to do is log into the game for 150 days. So we cannot really complain about this champion.
But if you genuinely like what this champion has to offer and if he is working for you in PVE, you can go ahead and level him up. After all, enjoying a game is all about you playing the game how you want.
