Raid Shadow Legends Sun Wukong Skills
Gotcha!: Sun Wukong attacks 1 enemy with a 25% chance of placing the “Stun” debuff for a single turn. The debuff chance increases to 50% if the target has any existing buffs.
Staff of Wonder: Sun Wukong attacks 1 enemy while ignoring 50% of the target’s “DEF.” He then attacks all the remaining enemies with bonus damage if the initial target is killed. The second attack also ignores 50% of the target’s “DEF.” This attack cannot deal a critical hit and if the initial target survives, Sun Wukong places a “Sheep” debuff for 1 turn. This debuff cannot be blocked.
Now You See Us: Sun Wukong attacks all enemies. Before the attack lands, he steals all buffs from all the enemies and places a “Block Buffs” debuff on them for 2 turns.
Unbeatable Wukong (Passive): If Sun Wukong gets killed, this ability revives him with 100% HP and 100% Turn Meter.
Raid Shadow Legends Sun Wukong Masteries
Sun Wukong PVP/Arena Nuker Masteries
For this PVP nuker build, we will be going with offense and defense.
Under offense, build towards Helmsmasher. This is the most used tier 6 mastery whenever you’re going for a damage build. Helmsmasher gives you a 50% chance to ignore 25% of the target’s “DEF.” This 25% stacks with your A2, which allows you to ignore 50% of the target’s “DEF,” making it a total of 75%.
Sun Wukong PVE/Dungeon, Boss Masteries
For this PVE build, we will be going with offense and defense again but with a few changes.
Under offense, build towards Warmaster. This is the perfect tier 6 offense mastery against high HP targets. Warmaster gives you a 60% chance of dealing bonus damage; this bonus damage is equal to 4% of the target’s MAX HP. (If the target is an enemy champion, then the bonus damage is equal to 10% of the target’s MAX HP.)
Since clan and dungeon bosses are known for their high HP, we will need a way to deal damage based on their MAX HP, and Warmaster does the job perfectly.
Sun Wukong Raid Shadow Legends Recommended Blessings
PVP/Arena Blessings
Polymorph: If you want to build a debuffer, we all know that one of the best choices is Polymorph. This lets you place a “Sheep” debuff on the enemy champion for 2 turns. If you remember, with your A2, if you didn’t manage to kill the initial target, you place a “Sheep” debuff on them for 1 turn.
If you manage to build enough ACC on Sun Wukong, you can easily counter durable and tanky champions in the arena.
Lightning Cage or Intimidating Presence can also be a great choice of blessing for the arena. Go with the Lightning Cage if you’re looking to deal more damage and go with the Intimidating Presence if you want to fulfill the role of an aura leader.
Keep in mind that the Intimidating Presence aura does not stack. If someone from your team is already using it, either go with Polymorph or Lightning Cage.
PVE/Dungeon Blessings
Phantom Touch: This blessing gives you a chance to deal bonus damage to a single target whenever you hit multiple enemies. Wukong has two abilities that allow him to hit all enemies. Especially his second hit from A2, which attacks all enemies with bonus damage while also ignoring the enemy’s DEF.
Crushing Rend: If you want to negate the enemy’s DEF even more, this is the perfect blessing for you. Crushing Rend lets you ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF. The percentage ignored depends on the target’s level.
With 6 stars, every hit on the target will ignore 1% DEF for every 10 levels they have.
Sun Wukong Recommended Gear
For PVP
Look for these sets: Stoneskin, Lethal, Perception, Savage, and Speed.
Recommended stats: C.RATE, C.DMG and ATK%.
For PVE
Look for these sets: Speed, Perception, Cursed, Relentless, and Savage/Lethal.
Recommended stats: SPD, ACC, C.RATE, C.DMG, and ATK%.
Conclusion, tips, and a few quick builds for Sun Wukong
Sun Wukong is one of the best Raid Shadow Legends champions and is known for his versatility. It is worth it to summon and book him.
These were my two go-to choices when it comes to the Raid Sun Wukong build. Of course, there are a lot more ways to build him. But this PVP and general PVE build will work in all scenarios.
Sun Wukong can also be built as an arena support debuffer. With enough ACC and SPD, he will prove to be a great debuffer.
Sun Wukong is a 5-star Hydra champion. For his Hydra build, follow the same PVE mastery for offense, but go for the support tree instead of defense and build towards Spirit Haste and Master Hexer.
