The game has managed to gather a massive player base and has more or less maintained its ability to successfully keep them hooked throughout the years.
But I personally feel like this game will make a huge comeback; after all, it is Respawn who is working on it. When nobody believed that a hero-shooter battle royale could have balanced gameplay regardless of the hero picks, Respawn more or less managed to prove them wrong and I strongly believe that they will make the game the best battle royale once again!
1. Counter-Strike 2
Finally, at number 1, we have Counter-Strike 2, or simply CSGO 2. Not only is CS 2 at the top of our list but it’s been topping the Steam charts for a couple of years now. Yes, CS 2 is currently the most-played FPS game on Steam. The game reaches a peak concurrent player count of around 1.5 million in a day.
Who doesn’t know about Counter-Strike? It is a timeless classic and one of Valve’s signature games. The base game mode is the classic 5v5. Where terrorists must attack a site and plant the C4, and counter-terrorists must either defend or retake a site and defuse the C4.
But there are so many other fun game modes, like Wingman, Arms Race, Deathmatch and so many others. I personally love playing on the community maps; these are maps created and hosted by the community of CS 2. Here you can practice your skills, be it AWPing, retaking, or even bunny-hopping, and so much other fun stuff.
