The Latest Planar Ornament Leak Details

Before we get started, remember that this information is from a leaked source, not an official release from HoYoVerse. There are a couple of other details that we’ll talk about later on, but first, let’s get to the latest leak info: the two new planar ornament sets!

In case you’re unclear about what a planar ornament set is in Honkai: Star Rail, these two-piece relic sets offer useful bonuses when equipped on one of your characters. As long as you’ve got both parts of the planar ornament set, you’ll gain the bonuses.

According to Honkai: Star Rail’s in-game lore, planar ornaments were created by Herta, one of the creators of the Simulated Universe. As a result, it should be no surprise that they are only available as rewards from playing the Simulated Universe mode, which features rogue-like mechanics.

Planar ornament set buffs affect a wide range of stats depending on the set, from boosting your maximum health to increasing your damage, or even helping to protect you from enemy debuffs that could weaken you.

We only have limited information about the two new planar ornament sets, since leaked information isn’t always the most complete or reliable. We don’t know the names of these new sets or what they will look like, but here’s the information we do have:

  • Leaked Planar Ornament Set 1

This set is rumored to have the following effect on player damage: “When the number of allied units is >x or <y, the wearer and their Memosprite deal increase damage by %”.

Note that the missing percentage is not a typo – the leak did not include the exact details of the damage increase.

  • Leaked Planar Ornament Set 2

We have even less specific detail about the second leaked planar ornament set, just that it will increase the wearer’s damage, as well as their Damage over Time (DoT). Since DoT can’t register critical hits, it’s really helps that it buffs both.

It’s not much, but that’s all we know so far. Keep an eye out for additional leak info in the coming weeks!

What Else is Coming to Honkai: Star Rail in Update 3.4?

There’s a lot more coming in the v3.4 update than just a couple of planar ornament sets! HoYoVerse has also been teasing a crossover with Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, a popular visual novel series that has already been turned into a film and an anime TV series.

This crossover will bring two new playable characters to Honkai: Star Rail: Archer and Saber. HoYo has posted some teaser images for these 5-star crossover characters, as you can see below:

Honkai: Star Rail Archer

Archer is a 5-star Hunt path character with Quantum affinity who will be unlockable as a free login reward item, so make sure you log in as soon as the new update drops!

Honkai: Star Rail Saber

Saber is also a 5-star character, but she’s focused on the Wind element for her damage. She’s more of a support character, but you’ll have to pull for her instead of unlocking her as a free reward.

However, they’re not the only new characters scheduled to arrive in the v3.4 update, since the NPC Phainon will finally be available as a playable character. This has also been confirmed by a post on the official Honkai: Star Rail X account (formerly Twitter).

While Phainon’s exact details haven’t been officially announced, some sources are reporting that he will have the ability to force an enemy to engage in single combat with him instead of allowing the standard turn-based combat system with your whole team.

This ties in perfectly with our information about the first leaked planar ornament set that has effects triggered by allied player count, so you may want to stack those two leaks together for some epic damage!

Honkai: Star Rail HoYo

In addition to those confirmed new characters, several sites report that HoYo will refresh some of HSR’s classic characters with new buffs to bring them back into mainstream play. In the v3.4 update, these leaks suggest that Silver Wolf, Jingliu, Kafka, and Blade will all get new buffs, although the

When is the New Update Dropping?

According to the official Honkai: Star Rail account posts on X (formerly Twitter), the new update is scheduled to be released on July 2, 2025. This follows the same update pattern established by previous HSR updates, which are released approximately every six weeks.

That’s a lot of content to prepare in a short amount of time! HoYoVerse has done a great job of maintaining a consistent release schedule across all their games, so we can safely assume that this information is also accurate.

However, the original release date was reported by many sites as July 1, so the revised date may be designed to give them a little extra time to complete all the changes they’re including in the v3.4 update. If they revise the date once, they may do it again!

A Final Word About Leaks

While learning about leaked update details is exciting, it’s important to remember that most of this information is just based on guesswork from dedicated fans. Even if the leaks are 100% accurate from knowledgeable sources, there’s always the possibility that HoYo will change something before the update finally launches.
