Terrorist players must plant C4 explosives at a designated spot without being killed by the CSGO Counter-Terrorist team. The explosives must then go off without the Counter-Terrorists interfering by disabling them. With that, all Counter-Terrorists must be killed.
Now for the CSGO Counter-Terrorist objectives. These guys have a bit more of a complex job. At the beginning of a round, their first focus is to make sure the C4 explosive never gets planted. If it does, they must find and diffuse it as quickly as possible. If it is not diffused, then the chances of winning the round decrease exponentially. Otherwise, all CSGO Terrorist players must be killed.
What makes the CSGO Demolition mode more unique compared to others is the fact that there is no weapon store menu or money given throughout the game. In fact, there is no real choice as to what CSGO weapons or items you will be given per round, but it is affected by how well you play. Each player will start out with a simple CSGO knife.
As a Counter-Terrorist, each player on the team will have a Defusal Kit at the beginning of each round. This is what’s used to disable any C4s that have been planted during the round. Meanwhile, only one CSGO Terrorist player is given a C4 and is responsible for planting it. Other Terrorists must help the C4 holder by protecting them.
Now we get to the main mechanics of how CSGO Demolition mode works. If you manage to get a kill on the other team, you will gain a different weapon in the next round but lose the one you currently have. The more players you eliminate, the higher quality CSGO weapons and grenades you will gain access to in the next round.
Even if you do not use the CSGO weapons or grenades that you have been gifted in a round, you will still be able to keep them until you eventually get a kill. However, if you die, then you will lose those CSGO weapons and go back to what you had beforehand. You also cannot pick up CSGO weapons or grenades even if they happen to be on the ground, so no cheating!
Overall, the Demolition game mode is very similar to the Bomb Defusal mode but is instead considered much more challenging due to the lack of choice in weaponry. However, this CSGO mode is perfect for players who desire more of a challenge and want to try practicing their skills at lower-level CSGO weapons.
There are lots of CSGO weapons that you have the potential to earn yourself throughout each round. While you could get the M4A4 rifle or the AK-47 which are less known for how much damage they can do, you could also manage to get the small but deadly Desert Eagle CSGO pistol.
